SAGRES, the school and the ship
Very accurate informations about this sailing vessel and great fun to read. Paintings and illustrations in the book are from Roger Chapelet, an artist who gave his heart to the Sagres.

Museu de marinha, Lisbon, Portugal
One of the most important maritime museums of the world, was opened in 1863 in the Palacio das Laranjeiras. It contains, among many other items of great interest, a magnificent collection of charts and atlases of the great days of Portuguese navigation and discovery in the 15th and 16th century.
Ship modelers and lovers of them be warned: amount and quality are so incredible that you will visit this museum again and again!
